Well, she mentioned having a boyfriend a long time ago... after breaking up with him she went lesbian.

...granted, for a 'lesbian', she doesn't seem too against sex with certain guys, but I think it's more abandonment and being used issues. Plus... just generally being crap with real attachment. I think she doesn't want to get burned again.

Since you can't believe that she had parents, remember? I know you didn't mean it that way, but saying that someone might have been abandoned, or other such theories, tend to suggest that someone was discarded because they were/are worthless.
