I do have to wonder why I don't get more requests from people in Domino.

Is there something about my character that turns them off.

Is it the orbital laser cannon?

The flying mountain lair that's half in-phase with reality?

The highly unnecessary surgeries?

The gender swap serum?

Is it my sister's menacing aura?

Also please don't encourage more orbital laser cannons, I'm trying to push for stricter permits on those.

... Those are marketed at the civilian populace!

It's not my fault they don't have jetpacks!

Orbital laser cannons, secret bases, and jetpacks are seen as more of technology's function as a tool of combat for most of the populace to really gain an interest in them.

Believe me, I had enough trouble pushing the Duel Guard through BV's channels for official production, marketing sucks.

And yet every kid wants them!

Yeah, but it took multiple revisions and meeting with higher-ups that ended up downplaying the hard-light body armor aspects. I would bet most of those kids don't even know it's nigh-revolutionary protective gear, just the fact that you can project custom outfits onto yourself!

I mean I don't mind, that was always going to be part of its functionality, but people aren't interested in specs the way you or I might be, Vidya.

I mean, I don't think I ever stopped being a kid, but I think there's something to be said that most people aren't exactly... uh.

As abnormal as we are. Domino is still adjusting to that.

Maybe I need to make everyone kind of a kid.

Well, for starters, there's a lot of things you can do as an adult that would be... well, frankly impossible as a kid.

Well plenty of people stop doing things they like because they're no longer a kid.

This seems like a paradox.

The paradox of humanity, you could call it. Some people stop enjoying things they liked as a kid, but it might influence their adulthood, or find brand new things to love as an adult.

So the ideal is make them perpetual teenagers, got it!

N-no! Not what I said! Not what I was even closely going for!

But it makes perfect sense!

I think people having to constantly deal with the...exciting cocktail of hormones that accompany teenage years might make things worse, not better, personally.

But the cocktail of hormones is fun and exicitng, Haita-kun!
