(no subject)

So, I think I made a new friend.

Oh ah.

Well, it just seems a weird contrast. You want a mansion staff, but a Middle Class house.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Also it gives me headaches to work with. Crazy thing.

I don't see the problem. I don't want some big ornate place. I'd just like for the world to be ready to develop.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
... It sounds like its headache inducing.

... By having your own personal staff?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 06:58 am (UTC)(link)
It really is.

More like specialists on hand to set the foundation for expansion. It's not for our yard... it's for sustainability.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
I guess. I'm sort of energy development. Shiyoko is vehicle development. The maid's the maid....

Umu, financial support?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Umu seems like an organizer in general.

But yes, you all have your own specialties and skill set. It's not what I chose you for, of course, but any abilities we can put to use is something for the betterment of all of us.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Ideally, yes.

I mean, if I'm going to have my own little world, I may as well make it as close to heaven as possible, right?

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I know you mean that, dear. But I'm cracking up.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's heaven to me. Wonderful girls, comfy home, ease of living... doesn't get much better.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
... That does sound pretty nice. Does help the neighbor we have is quiet and doesn't cause too much trouble.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed.

Maybe a few more similarly mild neighbors, eventually.

A nice, peaceful existence.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Mild and probably minded.

Sounds nice. Though hopefully it won't be too dull.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I imagine we'll stay connected to Earth for as long as that's reasonable and desirable.

After that, we can explore the multiverse some. Lots of different places to go, only limited by what won't reject our existence.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
... Well, I don't have much on Earth, but I don't know about Shiyoko and Umu. They might want to have Earth to come home to.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I imagine so. For the time being, at least.

All the same, the more area we have prepared, the more people can live here if we offer and they accept. Or if things go badly on Earth.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
... Honestly, I don't think that'll come up. The whole bad earth bit.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
It will, eventually.

It just may take millions of years.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I know.

Though I think it might take a normal lifetime to get them to let go.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-22 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I imagine we'll meet more people over time. ...and I imagine that some things will get... rather complicated as we get older.

...but that's okay. We'll work through it. Together.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Of course we will dear. But I think it's going to be hard to have them agree to leave, is my point. Especially Shiyoko without her sister, as it stands.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
On the short term, yes. But I've given up on that.

Long term it's going to be much easier. I honestly think Shikou and Shiroko might become our neighbors someday.

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
... What makes you say that?

[Private to Vidya, just in case.]

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Well, from what I gather, they're both going to be rather long lived. Shiroko because of the modified genes and nanites, and Shikou because of something or other.

Besides for us, there's not much option for people they wouldn't have to watch age. Besides, why wouldn't Shiroko want to live near her sister in the end?

Re: [Private to Vidya, just in case.]

[identity profile] bibeakerbabe.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
... Probably in the end. And we're an ageless world, effectively.
