About as well as most Japanese are fluent in English, I imagine.

You basically have a small portion of the population that fits the bill. Most just know enough to pass the required classes and forget it all in a few years.

In all seriousness, I see your point, but a lot of the guys around here are... well, not particularly the type I'd want to be friends with. It's bad enough that we have as many violent girls as we have.
