(no subject)

That charity tournament I was in felt like it took forever.

Did pretty well, huh?
pureplainpatron: (Hmmm....)

Oh, that's too bad.

Anything I can do to help cheer you up again?

...are you thinking more garden, patio, or trophy room?
pureplainpatron: (Hmmm....)

[personal profile] pureplainpatron 2013-11-23 05:43 am (UTC)(link) preference whatsoever?

...hmm. I suppose we could put them randomly in a hedge maze. Something on the spooky side... could be fun.

[personal profile] pureplainpatron 2013-11-24 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)'s a little disturbing that she had so many.

Are you sure they don't do anything?
pureplainpatron: (Hmmm....)

...I'll double check them to be safe.

...I can't really imagine why these would be a prize... much less so many of them.

...I think I'll get to work on that hedge maze, regardless.

How are statues not a prize.

They're strictly a 'personal taste' sort of thing. And most people wouldn't have room for more than maybe one in Japan.

Also, what do they do?

... Not everything from me is magical or part of some scheme. Some times a cigar is just a cigar.
pureplainpatron: (Hmmm....)

...I think I'll check to be safe, but good to hear.
pureplainpatron: ( that so?)

[personal profile] pureplainpatron 2013-11-26 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose.

...ooh, I just had an idea. Maybe see if I can't make the area of the maze 'timeless'. You enter, spend years without feeling the effects of age, hunger, or thirst. When you exit, it's like no time has passed, except in your mind.

You could get lost in there for years and not be late for supper.

It'd actually be perfect for a 'time out' punishment, don't you think?

Or just to clear your head after something frustrating.

...I'd probably avoid working on anything, honestly.

Things would be kept in stasis. I'm not sure how that'd affect working on anything. But I imagine it wouldn't be good.
pureplainpatron: (Hmmm....)

...likewise you couldn't really sleep in there. I mean, you could, but it wouldn't DO anything for you. Maybe calm the mind a bit, but none of the normal biological processes that revitalize you when you sleep.

So... no real shortcuts. Besides mental.
